Today we went onwards to Pokhora on a eight hour bus ride,
which provided great views of the countryside, which is far more impressive
than the city; however, despite the bumpy ride I sleapt for half the journey so
possibly missed a lot of good sights. In the evening we went to a proper Indian
curry house, which is far better than curry in England, but it’s spicy and I
mean it burns your mouth for hours. In
conversation with Mahendra I found out that I will be getting a motorbike to
travel to some villages and so I can explore in my free time. I’ll let you know
how that works out, as I’ve never driven one. As we were staying on the
outskirts of the city it was less polluted and far less so than Kathmandu;
therefore, I could see the sky clearly tonight. I’ve never seen so many stars
in the sky, it was impossible to even make out well know constellations due to
all the extra stars.
